IACS opens European Industrial Inkjet Technology Centre

IACS is pleased to announce the opening of our Industrial Inkjet Technology Centre, located near Ghent, Belgium. Its purpose is to provide a wide range of essential services to industrial inkjet markets across Europe, assisting customers in the development of new inkjet printing systems and modifying existing ones to meet the latest, challenging demands.​​

Our range of services falls into 4 categories: research and development, from prototyping to manufacture; component and tool supplies; technical advice, assistance and training; inkjet technology demonstrations and testing.

Research and Development
We provide a complete service, from needs analysis to fully-functional solutions. This includes software and hardware development, CAD and mechatronic system design, prototyping and product manufacturing.
 
Components & Tool Supplies
We design and supply ink recirculation systems, ink supplies, colour bars, head positioning systems and even complete printing modules.
 
Technical Advice, Assistance & Training
Customers benefit from our assistance in many ways. We offer advice on the customization and integration of inkjet systems for special or innovatory applications. Where customers are migrating from traditional printing methods to the latest inkjet technologies, we help to smooth and shorten their transition period. We can also provide in-depth inkjet technology training.
 
Inkjet Technology Demos & Testing
​Our centre is equipped with a variety of test equipment that can be used by customers, with or without our support. This includes a versatile inkjet press that is designed to allow flexible test set-ups, using top- or side-mounted printheads to print on horizontal substrates or 3D objects. We test inks for compatibility with specific substrates and printheads to obtain the highest print quality. And printhead waveform tuning is another area of our expertise.

IACS is also the authorised Toshiba TEC Inkjet Technology Centre for Europe. We advise on the choice of Toshiba TEC printheads for specific applications and can demonstrate their reliability and high print quality. We support European Toshiba TEC customers by on-site visits and remote assistance.
